Services Provided
I offer consultation, evaluations, clinical supervision, therapy, and DOT-SAP services in West Chester, PA. I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating mental health and substance use concerns.

I have a particular interest in supporting healthcare professionals and members of the LGBTQ+ community, providing affirming, culturally responsive care tailored to each person’s experience.

For more than 34 years, I have helped individuals and families better understand mental health and substance use diagnoses, interrupt self-destructive patterns, reduce distressing symptoms, and develop healthier communication and coping skills.

My approach begins with a thorough assessment and a clear, goal-oriented plan. By identifying needs early and working efficiently, I help clients make meaningful progress while being mindful of both time and financial investment.

Therapy Evaluations
The initial evaluation is different from a typical therapy session. It’s usually longer and focused on gathering information about your history, concerns, strengths, and goals. This helps us create a clear and thoughtful plan moving forward.
The evaluation is also a chance for both of us to see if we’re a good fit. If I believe another clinician may better meet your needs, I’ll gladly provide referrals. If we decide to move forward together, we’ll schedule our next session and outline next steps.
Some clients seek short-term, goal-focused therapy, while others prefer longer-term work. I typically recommend starting with weekly sessions to build momentum and establish a strong working relationship. As progress develops, we can reassess and adjust the frequency.
Open, honest feedback is an important part of the process. I welcome your thoughts about how our work is going and how I can be most helpful. Therapy works best when it’s collaborative.

Healthcare Professional Evaluations
I am an approved independent evaluator for the Pennsylvania Nurses’ Health Program (NHP) and the Pennsylvania Physicians’ Health Program (PHP). I provide remote evaluations and can usually schedule appointments within 48 hours of your initial call. I offer a flexible schedule and a sliding fee scale.
I’ll review the entire evaluation process in detail when we speak. For now, here’s some general information to help demystify the process.
Before our appointment, you’ll complete intake paperwork and provide the names of three collateral contacts. NHP/PHP will arrange for any required laboratory testing and forward the results to me. We will meet remotely for approximately one hour using a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. As part of the evaluation process, I will contact your collateral references.
Once I have gathered all of the necessary information, I will prepare and submit my report to NHP/PHP. They will review the results and recommendations with you.
My typical report turnaround time is 7–10 days, depending on how quickly I am able to speak with your collateral contacts and receive all laboratory results.
Please feel free to call me at 610-416-0793. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have about my experience, the evaluation process, or what to expect along the way.
